This is the evaluation of a hotel room of the hotel mentioned above of a guest, which stayed in this Hotel at the beginning of March 2006 for two nights (room 213).

My two-day Vienna stay (at the beginning of March 2006) in the Hotel Austrotel Viennart, Breite Gasse 9 in 1070 Vienna (Austria) is cause enough, in order to deliver an evaluation to this hotel. The numerous photos are to give a rough picture of the double room, for which approx. € 190.00/night are to be berappen. Before I show however in the following the pictures, I must say, that the entrance and breakfast area were very beautiful and clean. The breakfast was very versatile and one could take during the day a coffee or a beverage free of charge to itself. In addition, two Desktop PCs with Internet connection were available, over which one could navigate free of charge. On several beautiful Couches, I could read numerous newspapers in peace. At the same time, I was quietly exposed to sound by reassuring music. The remainder - the room and the lounge area - were very to wish remaining. Let the photos speak now:

As one sees, the flowing soil in the bath has already some gone through…

… also a tile in the shower was already broken. The broken tile was repaired very professionally were clean-stuck (with silicone).

The tap was functional only in the neutral position. In the other positions, it dripped continuously. The dirty spots were not to get clean even after long efforts.

When I wanted to take the hair dryer, me equal the whole came against mounting plate and behind it were the whole wirings of the hair dryer. And beside the tap…

On the heating element beside the toilet you could see the splashes very clearly.

At the refrigerator the ventilation was falling down.

No wonder, if someone looks on Google Search for Photos, you will find only the external facade of the building, the entrance area and breakfast area. Now I know why ;)

I have contacted him by telephone and spoken with him about my experience and obvious lacks. He gave me surprisingly right in all points. According to his statement, steps have already been taken, in order to eliminate these bad states (14.04.2006). Here I would like to point out again that these pictures were taken at the beginning of March 2006 and therefore can be also no more current (!) . This report represents thus only a snapshot of my stay in this hotel (Austrotel Viennart). However, I did not have the possibility to convince me of the opposite, what means, that the pictures could be still current .

Caution is anyhow required, because the hotel management should normally not ignore such obvious lacks. I disgusted myself anyhow enormously and was glad to be allowed to begin after my business dates the home journey. This Hotel will see me never more!!!
